The short version
This site sets no advertising cookies, no analytics cookies and no tracking cookies. That is why you were not asked to accept anything.
Analytics without cookies
We use Plausible Analytics, which measures page views without cookies, without collecting personal data and without following you between sites. It cannot identify you, and there is nothing to opt out of because nothing about you is stored.
We chose it deliberately. A consent banner is an admission that a site is doing something a visitor might reasonably decline, and we would rather not be doing that thing.
What is stored in your browser
Locale preference. When you switch language, a cookie records that choice so the site opens in the language you picked. It holds a language code and nothing else.
Checklist progress. The document checklist saves your ticks in local storage, in your browser. It never reaches our servers.
Both are functional: they exist because you asked for something, and neither is used to observe you.
Challenge widget
If the enquiry form shows an anti-spam challenge, its provider may set a token to distinguish people from automated traffic. It appears only on that form, and only where the challenge is enabled.
Clearing them
Your browser can clear both at any time, from its own settings. The site will continue to work; it will simply forget your language preference and your checklist.
